New Year Is Welcomed
More than 50 people and a few dogs turned out for the annual New Year’s Day photo on the Monticello Square at noon Monday.
Jasper County will be 200 years old this year, and events to celebrate the bicentennial are being planned throughout the year. This year began like the last eight, with a photo on the Square.
