Mega Pops™

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of some lollipops. They may contain traces of foreign objects, the manufacturer says.

Columbina S.A., Miami, is recalling a limited number of Mega Pops™ brand lollipops, that may contain traces of foreign particles. The company is urging consumers to return the product to place of purchase for a full refund or store credit.

The recalled product is in specific lots of watermelon, cherry, orange and grape flavored Colombina Brand Mega Pops in 14-ounce and 28-ounce cellophane bags. The candy has the UPC Code numbers 0 14272 10873 9 or 0 14272 10862 3, and are in lots numbered 1240695, 1209708 and 1209796. The lot number appears in a white square on the lower left side of the reverse of each bag.

A special 24-hour toll-free telephone hotline, 1-888-317-3686, has been set up to answer consumer questions.
