Piedmont Runners Battle Tough Course in Carrollton

Piedmont Academy’s Lynne Marie Edwards placed seventh in the varsity girls cross country race last week in Carrollton hosted by Oak Mountain.

“The course was a very tough one,” said coach Traci Brady. “I was proud of our teams.”

The varsity boys and girls both finished third overall.

Piedmont Academy’s Alina Jablonski finished fifth in the meet for junior varsity girls last week at a meet hosted by Oak Mountain in Carrollton.

Brady’s runners were scheduled to compete at Brentwood Wednesday and will travel to Central Fellowship Saturday for a meet beginning at 9 a.m.
