James Dwayne Holman
James Dwayne Holman, 50, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Holman was born in Columbus. His father was the late James Braxton Holman. He lived in Charlotte, N.C. before moving to Monticello in 1982. Mr. Holman served in the U. S. Navy during Desert Storm. He owned and operated JASCO Electric and he loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Walsifer Holman of Monticello; daughters and son-in-law, Leah and Paul Campbell and Lyndsy Holman of Monticello; grandson, Lincoln Blaze Campbell; mother, Edna Cain Holman of Monticello; step-mother, Donna Dumas Holman of Monticello; brother and sister-in-law, David and Felicia Holman of Monticello; nephews and niece, Michael Clayton and Aleashia Holman, Jesse Holman, Hali Holman, and David Ty Holman; and great-niece, Paisleigh Belle Holman.
The family will receive friends from Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Rindy Trouteaud will officiate.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jasper County Animal Control, 126 Mack Tillman Drive, Monticello, GA 31064 or to the charity of one’s choice.
