KINDER-COUGARS ‘GRADUATE’ AT PIEDMONT

Eight “kinder-cougars” received their kindergarten diplomas Thursday, May 30, during festivities in the school’s gymnasium.

Lane Sanders opened the ceremony with prayer followed by Natalie Sanders and Jake Pope leading the audience in the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

The children began the program with a music and dance presentation of “The Duck Review.” Afterwards, each student individually recited his or her favorite nursery rhyme. The class joined together in a line dance to “Cotton Eyed Joe” while sporting their cowboy hats.
