MARKET ON THE SQUARE

Different vendors may arrive each week at the Market on the Square, held Saturdays in Monticello from 8 a.m. to noon.

This Saturday, when visitors leave there, they may want to head to the round-up festival, part of the Shady Dale rodeo celebration just eight miles north on Hwy. 83.

Get your fresh produce and handcrafted items in Monticello, then go to Shady Dale and see what’s available there…and don’t forget, there’s a parade at 3 p.m. featuring the Shriners, horses, and more!
