The Chamber table at “Seuss On The Loose” was a success and full of children decorating crowns and creating books. Thank you Ferst Foundation for Child Literacy for sponsoring this event!

The First Friday Breakfast was well attended for this quarter. The group heard from the Forward Jasper Steering Committee and its’ speaker about developing a plan for the county’s future. Thank you Jasper County Family Connection for providing the breakfast.

Spring has sprung so events are popping up everywhere.

•Annual Spring Golf Tournament at Hunter Pope Country Club, Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

Chamber members and friends come together for a relaxing afternoon of golf at this beautiful 18 hole course. The annual tournament includes a full meal with fun and prizes!

•Market on the Square begins Saturday, May 10, 2014

This annual small town festival brings local farmers and crafters together at the historic Monticello Square to display and sell their homegrown/handmade items.

The Market continues every Saturday through the end of September.

•48th Annual Deer Festival will be Saturday, November 1, 2014.

The day when thousands travel to the Deer Capital of Georgia to experience the largest Deer Season Festival in the Nation! A call goes out to all Jasperites to begin “sprucing up” our county to showcase its beauty and resources!
