Jump Start Orientation Is August 6
Jasper County High School will be hosting its annual Jump Start Orientation for the Class of 2018 on Wednesday, August 6, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
The theme for this year is “Hurricane Heroes.” The purpose of this event is to help ease the transition from middle school to high school, to familiarize students with the culture & climate of Jasper County High School, and to present school expectations.
The event will be filled with lots of information and activities to help children feel more comfortable about entering high school.
We encourage students to dress up as their favorite superhero while attending Jump Start. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the Scavenger Hunt and Costume Contest, and door prizes provided by the clubs and organizations on campus will be given away.
Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. with all activities beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the theater. If planning to attend, call the school office to sign up.
We look forward to seeing all upcoming freshmen on August 6 as they begin their path to graduation in 2018.
Any questions or need for additional information, can be directed to Alicia Moore or Kelly Anderson at Jasper County High School, 706-468-5016.
