Contributor Is Needed

There’s no message from the Pastor’s Study this week.

For the past two years, Danny Sorrells, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, and Lyle Allen, a lay person with an extensive theological have taken turns filling this space. Two weeks ago, Rev. Sorrells announced he would no longer be able to write for the paper.

I was hoping that one of the area pastors would call me and offer to fill the space. Well, it didn’t happen.

So, I will be reaching out to pastors to see if someone would like to commit to writing a bi-weekly column to fill this space, or if several pastors would like to take turns, making it less of a burden on one person and offering different perspectives.

So, pastors, think about making this commitment. Readers, approach your pastor and see if he or she would like to offer a devotion to our readers.
