Congratulations Class of 2015!

So you have graduated or will be in a few days, yes, congratulations graduates of Jasper County High School and Piedmont Academy. Though you may think as you hang up your cap and gown on the back of the closet door, now what? Well, for certain, your education has just begun as you long to get your wings and fly into the future.

Ah, looking back 10, 20 years, even longer, who knew what would happen to us? Expect the unexpected for sure!

Someone at a meeting the other day said that she tired of youth telling her that they didn’t know what they were going to do with their lives. But in reality aren’t we all basically still trying to do that? Life is not scripted like movies and television shows. You’re actually going to live it, the good, the bad and the unbelievable.

You may travel far from Jasper County, some taking the road less traveled, making some left turns along the way, but your roots are here and millions of times in your life you will remember your graduation, the “Pomp and Circumstance,” seeing some for the last time, others to remain in your life.

Follow your rainbow, you may not find your pot of gold at the end, but you will have an adventure. The world awaits what you can do.
