News Office Tour Continues

This week I will continue to showcase our offices. When you walk through the front door, you see a reception window, and when she is at her desk, Susan Jacobs is there to greet you.

In the office with Susan is the bookshelf with the bound volumes of The Monticello News copies for the last 30+ years. We also have a bookkeeping desk in there, which is used by all, but basically Susan has a large office.

Like the rest of the building it features the original wood floors. The walls are a purple/grayish color.

The side door to leave the building is in that office, and the room is well-lit with fluorescent lights, a spotlight for the bond volumes, and a ceiling fan/light. The ceiling fan helps the air conditioner do its job, and we are generally quite comfortable.

The back of Susan’s office is open to where Jenny and Victoria work.

Diners from the Tillman House Restaurant will remember it as the first room on the left, and many will remember eating there for many years. However, it looks nothing like it did before.

As always, you are welcome to come by and take a look and visit. We prefer to have visitors during the slow days at the end of the week, but generally will welcome you whenever. Next week, I’ll tell you about Jenny and Victoria’s office.
