Jasper County Schools students have the unique opportunity to earn college credits while still attending high school. The dual enrollment program is overseen by the high school principal Camille Murner and counselor Amy Cox.

The high school partners with Southern Crescent Technical College located in Monticello and Georgia Military College (GMC) of Milledgeville to offer a variety of courses. The partnership was publicized in a recent issue of the GMC magazine as the President’s Report headlined JCHS as one of the first schools to offer the program to students.

The featured article further told of the dual enrollment success story of two JCHS students junior Alex Mendoza and sophomore Devin Robinson, who have both earned college credits that may not have been possible without the program.
