Students Compete at State Technology Fair
On March 5, several students from Jasper County High School (JCHS) and Jasper County Middle School (JCMS) traveled to Middle Georgia State University in Macon to compete in the State Technology Fair.
JCHS student Alina Jablonski (middle) won first place for a multimedia presentation and her sister Mari Jablonski (right) of JCMS won second place for a presentation in the same category.
Only first place regional winners were invited to compete against students from across the state.
In addition to the Jablonskis, other competitors included Ciara Christopher (left), Eli Smallwood and Robert Womack from the high school. Sponsors Mary Tumlin of JCMS and Matt Tumlin of JCHS, accompanied the students.
The event is hosted by the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium, Inc.
