Primary School Plans S.T.E.A.M. Camp

Jasper County Primary School is excited to announce a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) camp lottery for students this summer.

The camp will be offered for one week beginning Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 beginning each day at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 12:30 p.m.

This camp does not offer transportation. Parents will need to drop students off and pick them up at the designated times. Elizabeth Rojas, S.T.E.A.M. Facilitator, will host and teach the camp along with Lois Jackson.

Eligible students include rising first and second graders. A lottery will be held, and names will be selected. To participate in the lottery, parents will need to fill out an application and bring it in to JCPS’s main office by Thursday, June 16.

Applications can be faxed or mailed to 495 Hwy. 212 West Monticello, Ga. 31064. Applications can be found on the the JCPS website as well as the Jasper County School’s website. Application submittal does not guarantee participation in the camp.
