Parent Forum Set
The Jasper County Charter System is hosting a Parent Forum at the Jackson Lake Fire Department/ Station 1 on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m. for all parents and stakeholders.
The meeting will be an informative session on the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program that is now an important part of each of our schools. Autumn Swarner will present the program and counselors from each of the public schools will be available to give updates from their schools and answer questions.
Parents will also learn how to access the Georgia Family Engagement social media sites to find resources to help support their students’ academic success and ways to engage with the schools.
Finally, parents will be given the opportunity to review each of the federal programs’ documents that support the students (District Continuous Improvement Plan, School Wide plans, District and School Parent Involvement Plans, School-Parent Compacts, and the parent engagement budget) and offer feedback.
Parents are encouraged to take this opportunity to partner with the Jasper County Charter System to support academic achievement for all students.
