Cathy Notestone Is Outstanding Supporter

At the Middle Level Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference on February 28, Cathy Notestone was awarded “Outstanding FBLA Supporter of the Year.”

She was nominated by the local chapter adviser of Jasper County Middle School (JCMS), Mary Tumlin. Mrs. Notestone has been employed as the principal’s administrative assistant and bookkeeper at JCMS for nine years. She has performed countless tasks and completed mounds of paperwork over the years to help make the local FBLA chapter a success.

Mrs. Notestone has helped plan and chaperone fundraiser activities, process purchase orders, order supplies, and handle all fundraiser money.

“Cathy is invaluable, not only to FBLA, but to Jasper County Middle school and the community,” said Mrs. Tumlin.

Mrs. Notestone is originally from Oxford, Miss. where she studied nursing and worked for Amoco Oil Company and the University of Mississippi Department of Business and Finance.

The JCMS FBLA members and adviser are thankful for her support and feel fortunate to have her assistance.
