Solar Eclipse
We saw the total eclipse in Nashville Tenn., with airplane to the left. Birds started to sing as the earth was dark for around two minutes. The temperature dropped. Some in the neighborhood shot off fireworks.
I was in direct path of the only total solar eclipse in my life.
The television stations here have been covering the event all day. Our group left Tunica, Mississippi at 7 a.m. and made it to Hermitage, Tennessee east of Nashville in five hours. We never experienced any of the expected heavy traffic.
