Who Has Believed Our Report?

Who has believed our Report? And to whom has the arm of Lord been revealed. For he shall grow up before Him as a tender planet, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and we hid, as it were, our faces from him; he was despised and we did not esteem him. Esteem means value, honor think highly of, attach importance to, prize, treasure, admire, respect, cherish, look up to. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet, we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to His way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was treated badly and made to suffer. But he didn’t open his mouth. He was led away like a lamb to be killed. Sheep are silent while their wool is being cut off. In the same way, he didn’t open his mouth. He was arrested and sentenced to death. Then he was taken away. He was cut off from this life.

He was punished for the sins of my people.

Who among those who were living at that time tried to stop what was happening?

He was scared that he no longer looked like a person. His body was so twisted that he did not look like a human being anymore. Were you there when they crucified my lord? Yes, you—we were there under the law. All sinners have sin and come short of the glory of God.

Galations 5:16—This I say then, walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the flesh. Romans 6:12—Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body that ye should obey the lusts thereof. V. 14-15—For sin shall not have dominion over you(us). For ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law but under grace? God Forbid.

St. Matthew chapter I is the new beginning for humanity/mankind. The genealogy of Jesus Christ. The angel appears to Joseph, the visit of the wise men, the flight into Egypt; the preaching of John the Baptist. The three existence persons in God, recognized as God the invisible, the son Jesus Christ recognized as His son God in the flesh. The Holy Spirit is recognized.

Jesus just didn’t die on the cross for our sins. Go back to Matthew, chapters 1-10, all the way to St. John 21:25. When he left it up to his beloved disciples to preach the gospel. The disciples began in Acts telling all what Jesus had left the basic before leaving here.

John 15:18,19—My disciples does the world hate you? Remember that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world it would love you like one of its own.

John 15 But we did not belong to the world. I have chosen you out of the world. This is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you. I said, “A slave is not more important than his master. John 3:16 If people hated me and tired to hurt me, they will do the same to you. If they obeyed my teaching they will obey yours also. They will treat you like that because of my name. They do not know the one who sent me.

If I had not come and spoken to them they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have no excuse for their sins. Yes, all have sin—man sins by choice, because he is a sinner by nature, sin entered the world because one man sinned, not like the world says it, the woman snake talk. The scripture says one man sinned and death came because of sin. Everyone sinned so death came to all people. Before the law was given, sin was in the world. It was commandments. Death ruled from the time of Adam to Moses. Death ruled even over those who did not sin. Adam broke God’s commandment not his law.

Jesus came preaching salvation, believer baptism the forgiving of sin we don’t have to keep reminding God that we all have sinned and come short of his glory. Is there anything to hard for God? Is his arms to short to reach down to man. Is his love too weak and faint to sustain us? Can he not make an escape for us? Can he not block out your sins? What’s wrong with you?

You be the judge. Stop putting your laws on other backs making it hard for them to bear and entering into God’s kingdom.

Matthew 26:2 “You know that after two days is the Passover, and the son of man will be delivered up to be crucified.

Then the chief priests, the scribes and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest who was called (caiaphus mean) Jewish High Priest Council. And plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill him. And they aid nothing in fear of a uproar among the people. Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper. A woman to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil poured it on Jesus head as he sat at the table. But when Jesus disciples saw it they were indignant, mean, angry, mad, fuming, worked up, sore, saying to what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might be sold for much given to the poor.
