FFA Tractor & Truck Pull Set For April 14

The Jasper County High School FFA Alumni will hold their annual Antique Tractor and Truck Pull on Saturday, April 14 at the Shady Dale Rodeo Grounds.

Gates will open at 1 p.m., the tractors will begin pulling at 3 p.m., and the trucks will begin pulling at 7 p.m. At 6 p.m., the pedal tractor race will be held. Little ones, bring your pedal tractors for a race out on the track. All participants will receive a trophy.

Full concessions will be available all day such as hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks and homemade desserts.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All of the proceeds raised will benefit the Jasper County High School FFA chapter.

The alumni cover the cost of a trip to the National Convention for the officer team and a truck for livestock team use. They also assist with the cost for any students that wish to attend the State Convention and the summer leadership camp at the FFA center in Covington.

These events are excellent opportunities for local FFA students to interact with students across the nation .
