Taylor Wages Attends HOSA Event
Taylor Wages represented Jasper County High School HOSA at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.
Taylor competed at HOSA State Leadership Conference March 8-10 in the Home Health Aide event and placed third in the state. This qualified her for moving on to compete in Dallas.
Even though Taylor did not place at Internationals, she represented Jasper County well. She was able to enjoy her time in Texas after her competition was completed with a trip to the Magnolia Table and Magnolia Silos. She also wanted to visit Six Flags Over Texas. This was a great way to end her four years as a high school HOSA student.
Patty Cole, JCHS HOSA advisor, said, “Taylor has been a big part of HOSA while in high school. She has made it to HOSA International Competition twice and this shows me that she is willing to work hard. I am sad to see her leave my HOSA chapter but excited that she is moving on to the next level in healthcare. She will be attending the University of North Georgia in the fall and plans on becoming a nurse. I am very proud to have taught her. Thank you to the many that gave financial support. Without the support of so many, this trip would not have been possible. Your generosity was greatly appreciated.”
