Interesting Trip

On another trip for more adventure. Yesterday had an adventure of a lifetime, ran out of gas on I-75 near Calhoun. Our rental can malfunctioned and the van was almost empty when we picked it up instead of the three quarter tank full of gas we were told the vehicle had.

Luckily, I was able to steer it about two feet off the lane when we ran out of fuel and power.

We all escaped the out of service van as hundreds of cars and trucks passed us by doing the speed limit. LOL.

We called 9-1-1 and two nice Georgia State officers named Smith and Burchett parked behind us with full flashing lights. By the time they arrived the rental van company had he!p on the way. The nice police officers offered us ice cold water and stayed with us until help arrived.

Just another adventure to add to the other hundred of adventures we have had traveling the world.

Six women want to send special thanks to Officer Burchett and Smith and to Patricia at the Lover’s Lane Auto Sales and Towing, Calhoun for their assistance.

Happy Trails, and see you soon!
