Can You Have Faith Without Deeds?

Oh Heavenly Father, I give thanks to your for what you have given to me. I also give thanks to Mrs. Kathy and The Monticello News staff.

James 2:18-3:18

Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” I (James) say, “I can’t see your faith if you don’t have good deeds, but I will show you my faith through my good deeds.”

Do you still think it’s enough just to believe that there is one God? Well, even the demons believe this and they tremble in terror! Fool! When will you ever learn that faith that does not result in good deeds is useless?

Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was declared right with God because of what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?

You see, he was trusting God so much that he was willing to do whatever God told him to do.

His faith was made complete by what he did—by his actions. And so it happened just as the scriptures say: “Abraham believe God,” so God declared him to be righteous.” He was even called, “the friend of God.” So you see, we are made right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. So if God told you to do something let us get busy about our father business not man’s and here is something will help you; no man will have healing power in your sick room. Look at Job, His friends no words of comfort for three days. And when they did speak their words didn’t help Job.

Your husband, wife, children, father, mother, pastors, preachers will not help a unbelieving heart unless you open it up. Jesus said I stand at the door and knock if anyone open it I will come in and reason with him not force, but reason with you clean you up from the inside out with my father commandment.

So you see, we are made right with God by what we do.

Not by faith alone.

Rahab the prostitute is another example of this. She was right with God by her actions—When she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. Just as the body is dead without a spirit, so also faith is dead without good deeds—deeds mean in a law document under seal that sates a transfer from sin to repent. In other words the songwriter say let the works I done speak for me. Sit down sit down rest.

Facts and Truth

Luke 12:8 “And [Jesus] assure you [us] of this: If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I, the son of Man, will openly acknowledge that person in the presence of God’s angels. But if anyone denies me here on Earth, I will deny them before God’s angels.

Yet those who speak against the son of man may be forgiving but blasphemies against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Let us look at blasphemies see what God is saying to church. Jesus said I will send you a comfort {He] not something—He will the Holy Spirit will teach you/us what we should say.

So when you we are brought to trial ayes my friends, we are just like sheep going to slaughter before rules and authorities, we don’t worry abut what to say in our defense. For the Holy Spirit will teach you what needs to be said even as you are standing there. Because worrying can’t change a thing. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? God takes care of the ravens, lilies of the field, he will take care of us too.

Psalm 1:1-6

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicket or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers.

But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about his low. They are like trees planted along riverbanks, bearing fruit each season with faith.

Their leaves never wither and in all they do they prosper. [But this is not true of the wicked.] They are like worth less chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment.

Sinners will have no place among the godly for the Lord watches over the path of the godly. {But the path of the wicked leads to destruction.] ]So rejoice and be exceed Glad.]

Revelation 14:12 Read the whole chapter. V 12 say here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus. V-13.

Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me “Write; ‘Blessed are the Dead who die in the Lord from ow on”

“Yes” says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works follow them.”

So keep look up; our risen Lord is coming back for His church.
