Pleasing God
Galations 3:10
Anyone who tries to please God by obeying the law is under a curse.
I thank God for this day. I am sorry about last month. I apologize with no excuse. I thank God for The Monticello News staff.
Don’t let your problems override your promises. I Corinthians 7:19.
In every church I tell the people to stay as they were when the Lod Jesus chose them and God called them to be His Own. Now I say the same thing to you! Obey the Lord at all times.
Don’t let your problems override [your promises] 18 If you area already circumcised, don’t try to change it. If you are not then don’t try to be circumcised. It’ really doesn’t matter. The important thing is to obey God’s commands, so don’t let brother you me. Be what God chose you to be and do.
Because when the Lord chooses slaves, they become His free people, they become slaves of Christ. God paid a great price for you/me. So don’t become slaves of anyone else. What do you mean slave of someone else. Well let’s look at it. First of all John 3:16, Read. Then go to Exodus 34:8 and read through chapter 35, verse 29. Leviticus chapters 1, 2, 3; Exodus 34. The Lord said: I promise to perform miracles for your—me—us that have never been seen anywhere on earth.
How many of us is waiting on the miracles. Don’t let your problems override your promises. Sin is what separates us from the Love of God. The scriptures teach us to judge ourselves and then no one not even Him will judge us. It’s been said even a child knows whey they do wrong. How do I judge myself, get the Bible—Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. The 10 commandments and judge yourself and yes giving to the poor is one also.
Jesus said the poor will always be with us. Christ will judge each of us for the good or bad that we do while living in these bodies. That’s why when Satan comes to attack we don’t rely/trust ourselves but God’s words. So we can bring people to God by our actions, faith. Galations 3:23 The law controlled us and kept us under its power until the time came when we would have faith, in fact, the law was our teacher. It was supposed to teach us until we had faith and were acceptable to God.
But once a person has learned to have faith, there is No more Need to have the law as a teacher. Does the law disagree with God’s promises? No, it does not! If law could give life to us, we (you and me) could become acceptable toe God by obeying that law.
But the scriptures say that Sin controls everyone, so that God’s promises will be for anyone make no mistake here; He didn’t say everyone, but anyone who has faith in Jesus Christ. All of you are God’s children because of your faith in Christ Jesus.
And when you /me/us were baptized, it was as though you put on new clothes. Faith in Christ Jesus is what makes each of you/us/me equal with each other, whether you me a Jew or a Greek, a slave or a free person; a man or a woman. So if you belong to Christ you are a part of Abraham’s family, and you will be given what God had promised. Amen. The next time we will talk about the promises
