Meet the Superintendent Wednesday

All interested Jasperites are invited to Jasper County High School, 14477 Hwy. 11 North, next Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m. after open house to meet the new school superintendent, Kenny Garland.

Open house for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m., at the preschool, Jasper County Primary School, and Washington Park Elementary School. Open house for sixth through 12th grades, at Jasper County Middle School and Jasper County High School is scheduled 5 to 7 p.m. After that everyone is invited to the high school to meet Mr. Garland.

Next Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., incoming freshmen are invited to attend a Hurricane Luau at the high school. Student will meet their teachers and learn about the campus. There will be snacks and games, and a gift bag and snack will be provided. Interested persons should register by calling the front office at 706-468-5017.

In addition, Jasper County Middle School invites all incoming sixth graders to orientation on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium.
