Leadership Jasper 2019 Graduates
The Jasper County Leadership Class 2019 graduated from a six-month course on September 6 at the Chamber of Commerce First Friday Breakfast.
There were 14 participants this year. The recipients ranged from citizens in the county to business owners and employees. The class met once a month to discuss leadership and specific topics.
The class started with a leadership skills training facilitated by Koach Katlyn Monceif-Bryan. Koach Katlyn is a certified John Maxwell trainer, speaker and coach. She challenged the class to read The Leadership Bus along with other leadership books by John Maxwell. The class would discuss goal setting, how to be a leader, along with living life to the fullest.
The Leadership Class would then take a bus around the county visiting different businesses related to six topics. The following topics discussed were all related specifically to Jasper County: government, education, tourism, community services, economic development and resources. The community members and businesses were open to welcome the Leadership Class into their facilities. This gave each business a time to shine and promote what they offer and bring to Jasper County. The class was amazed with the wonderful things going on in Jasper County.
