All 45 JCHS Science Fair Projects Place at Region

Jasper County High School (JCHS) students competed in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair on February 7 at Georgia College.

JCHS Science Fair awards included 14 first place projects, 12 second place projects, and nine third place projects with all entered earning a placement. In total, 15 projects qualified to compete at the State Science Fair in Athens next month.

Top award winners included Charles Gorlich and Kyle Brewer who were selected as observers to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair in Anaheim, California. Tony Vargas-Miguel was awarded the U.S. Navy Award and Cole Smith was granted $500 for Community Innovation.
