JCHS Senior Awards To Be Presented Virtually

Jasper County High School (JCHS) will premiere the virtual Senior Awards for graduates on Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m. on the “JCHS Film” YouTube channel, YouTube.com/JCHSFilm.

The YouTube “premiere” function allows (signed in) YouTube viewers (e.g. students, parents, teachers, admin, etc.) to provide live comments (e.g. congratulations) while the awards video is playing for the first time. These comments will be moderated during the premiere which is pre-recorded.

After the premiere, the Senior Awards video can be viewed just like any YouTube video with the addition of being able to view the previously posted comments that occurred during the premiere. (This is done by clicking the “Show Chat Replay” while the video is playing).

The URL for the YouTube Premiere of the JCHS Senior Awards will be: TinyURL.com/JCHSSeniorAwards2020 (not case-sensitive).

The TinyURL will be set up next week that points to the actual YouTube URL, which when accessed beforehand, will show a countdown to the premiere. The premiere can be viewed on any device, including the use of chat capability.
