The End…The Beginning

Stop! Try to remember a day in May, maybe in recent years, or maybe many years ago, when you arose from your chair amongst your classmates and walked by yourself and was handed a diploma from various times in your life.

Probably kindergarten was your first graduation when you get to wear the big, long, black, silky gown and the square headgear known as a cap. For years to come, you went through several of these ceremonies until at long last you were told you were grown and the end of your school days. Reality. The End, sounds so terminal.

Sometimes there is a “Plan” for your future, the younger you are the simpler the “Plan.” Buy new clothes and shoes for the coming year, getting a car to drive to and from school, getting a job whether it is an after school, part-time job, going to college or a tech school to learn and prepare for your future, co-op at a company, travel learn about the world.

The “Plan” is very important! Whether the “Plan” is ever actually done or just the seed you plant, there is something you can look back to as you get farther away or just use it as a map. Never give up on the “Plan.”

Of course, all these ideas would be great if they would really happen, 1,2,3. Later in our life, we learn the word flexibility.

This week there will be lots of graduation ceremonies in Jasper County and we wish for our graduates success and happiness and congratulation on a new Beginning. .
