FBLA Members Attend SLOTS

Several members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) from Jasper County Middle School and Jasper County High School attended the annual Summer Leadership and Officer Training (SLOT) Summit held last week at Peach County High School in Ft. Valley.

While at the day-long conference, local FBLA members joined with 200 other FBLA leaders from the middle Georgia area to get prepared for their upcoming duties and roles in the local chapters. Chapter officers worked with advisers to develop the program of work and plan chapter activities for the upcoming year.

In addition to making plans, local officers also worked to develop a stronger officer team through participating in numerous team-building and trust-building exercises.

Those attending SLOTS were Arlie Moore, Khayden Hope, Abi Garland, Jayden Wojcik, and Breanna Singleton, Mary Tumlin, Nash Bragg, Amy Scroggs, and Isabella Lewis.

FBLA is the co-curricular organization for the Business & Technology pathway in the Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program in the Jasper County Schools.
