Youth Attend FBLA Fall Leadership Conference
The Jasper County High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recently attended the Fall Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens.
The local students were divided into various leadership tracks where they attended workshops and training sessions on preparing for college and a career, communications, financial literacy, officership and others.
In addition, several local FBLA members competed in their Region 14 contests. Results of those contests will be released in January and the students will then find out if they advance to the state competition.
JCHS students attending the conference were (left to right) Abi Garland, Jayden Wojcik, Adrianna Russell, Arabella Raatz, Lesly Bautista, Cooper Selman, Khayden Hope, Arlie Moore, Rayne Paulsen, Isabella Lewis, Amberly Beard, and adviser Amy Scroggs. The group was also accompanied by FBLA adviser Nash Bragg and Career, Technical & Agricultural Education (CTAE) Director Mary Tumlin.
