The Cure Is Commit to God!
To The Monticello News staff—Happy new year 2025. Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord what you do, and your plans will succeed.
Isaiah 59:1 says, Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
V2 But you iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. V3 For your hands ore defiled with blood, and your finders with iniquity, your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. The Lord detests lying lips. (Proverbs 12:22).
V4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity. V5 They hatch cockatrice eggs, and weave the spiders’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
A cockatrice is a legendary serpent with a deadly glance. It has the head, wings and legs of a cock. Once it lays the “egg” of lies to the mind the spirit begins to invade the pattern of the victim. Once these thoughts are cultivated. Many innocent people are destroyed spiritually. We are in a whole new year. Hebrews 12:1-14. Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy without holiness No One will see the Lord. So let us strive for peace with everyone and for holiness.
Phil. 4:6 says, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart/my heart/our hearts—if we do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. So 2025, don’t fret to worry; instead if worrying, I dare you to let your petitions be known praise God with Thanksgiving this year 2025 in all of your situations. Because Romans 8:28 says, “All things work together for good to those who love God.”
Ephesians 4:33 says “Be kind and compassionate—13 letters in the word compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you/me/us. May God continue to smile upon the entire county of America and may we forever keep our faces shining to God’s Grace 2025. Amen, Amen, Amen.
