JCPS LITERACY NIGHT

Jasper County Primary School was buzzing with excitement on March 6, as families gathered for a special Literacy Night, an evening dedicated to fostering a love of reading among students. The event offered an array of engaging activities designed to make literacy both fun and accessible. One of the biggest hits of the night was BINGO for Books, where children and parents played for a chance to win free books to add to their home libraries. Attendees also explored the bargain book fair, picking up great reads at discounted prices. Families left with more than just books—take-home reading activities and helpful reading tips were available to encourage continued learning at home. The JCCS Big Purple bus was also on site for students and families to explore. Students could also pick out a book to add to their reading selections.
