It was a great day at the St. Patrick Euchre Club last Wednesday when the Kings of Euchre – Keith Wheeler and Bruce Uhlmeyer – were dethroned by the Queens of Euchre – Julie Kirchner and Mary Weber. The King’s confidence was quickly restored when they started to play with the rest of the members of the club, beating us handily.

Caitlynn Feldkamp, daughter of Melissa and Darin Feldkamp and granddaughter of Rick and Tina Uhlmeyer, was recognized as the 7th Grade Outstanding Student at Canton R-V School.
Caitlynn is involved in basketball, softball, and Student Council.
The Shrine of St. Patrick Women’s Ministry is holding a Sip & Paint on December 13th, 6:00pm at the Shrine of St. Patrick basement. The group will be guided by Erin Hopp and will be painting a simple Nativity scene. For more information, contact Vanessa Gry at 319-795-4419 to register.
A county wide Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, November 24th at 2:00pm. Everyone is welcomed to attend and refreshments will be served afterwards.
