The holiday season is rapidly approaching. During this time, it is important to remember the joy we can give to others. In a joint effort, Exchange Bank and Sever Library will sponsor the Angel Tree for children in need, ages 16 and younger, in our community. Registration begins Friday, Nov. 1, at Sever Library. Come in to fill out a form and provide age, size, and “wish list” information. The last day to register your child for the Angel Tree will be Friday, Nov. 22. Registration requires a photo ID (government-issued driver’s license or ID card) and proof of residency (current first-class mail, bank statement, or utility bill).
For those in the community who wish to help with the Angel Tree, a child may be selected from the tree at Exchange Bank in Kahoka or Wayland after registration begins. Gifts must be returned to Sever Library no later than Friday, Dec. 13, at 4:30 p.m.
Gifts must be picked up by the parent or guardian who registered the child or children on Dec. 20, 2024, by 4:30 p.m.
Community support has made this a very successful program, and we hope this year will provide happiness for the boys and girls in our community. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
