International Market Comes to Monticello

The International Market to benefit the ML&J Fund, for Christmas and children from third world countries, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., and on Sunday, Oct. 6, from noon–4 p.m., in the Monticello Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

Special shopping, crafts, and snacks for children will be from 10 a.m.–noon. There will be beautiful items from 10,000 Villages Store in Atlanta.

The store will give back 10 percent and another 10 percent will be added to the purchase to benefit the ML&J Fund. All donations will be accepted and are appreciated.

Local artists who will have work for purchase include Linda Aldridge, Susan Haynes, Phillip Jordan, Brenda Thomas, and Jeanne Trammell. There will also be baked goods and children’s art available for purchase.

Everyone is invited to the church to take part in this special event, and support two charitable causes at one time.
