Fall Is in the Air

Fall is definitely in the air! Time to start raking and blowing leaves or as some do, raking and blowing leaves into the neighbors’ yard. Hope some of those leaves hang around long enough to give us some fabulous fall foliage.

As the weather cools, some of us experience, and not so happily, a few new aches and pains. Well, at least optimistically when you wake up and have some pains, you know your alive. Vertical is always preferable to the alternative.

It’s time to put away the pastels of summer and transition to the “jewel tones” of fall. Women seem to understand this way of thinking more than men. Thank goodness we are around to “show them the way”, casually asking, “You aren’t planning to wear that are you??”

Soon we will walk on crackling leaves, as the sun sets sooner in the day and a waft of smoke from a nearby chimney will hang in the air. Have a great Fall, Y’all.
