The Big Apple
My daughter-in-law, Tamara, and six gal friends and I are hanging out in New York City.
Being here is like a dream come true, you can get a pizza at 3 a.m. or 3 p.m. If that is not enough, sightseeing is free if you just walk around the streets.
In the city that never sleeps, who can? So much to do, so little time. We have been to a museum, taken a taxi ride through Central Park, gone to the B. B. King Club for a rock and roll show, was in the audience of Good Morning America and America’s Got Talent, went to the World Trade Center Memorial Fountains, rode the Staten Island Ferry, and ate at the San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy.
Whew!
We will need a vacation to get over our vacation. From the window of our room, we can see the lights of Times Square, as they call it, the “Center of the Universe”. Wish you were here!
Will be back home soon, back to the center of OUR universe, Monticello!
