Several Are Sentenced in Court Tuesday
Savannah Dumas appeared in Jasper County Superior Court Tuesday to answer a charge of probation violation, with Judge William A. Prior, Jr., presiding.
Ms. Dumas, who was on probation for a conviction on the charge of obstruction of an officer this past April 2, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges of possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to pay court ordered fines an fees. She was sentenced to serve 272 days in the county jail with credit for time served, and suspended upon the payment of $829.
Five other Revocation/Modification of Probation cases were resolved as follows:
•Ryan David Middlebrooks, who was on probation for the offense of stalking in February, 2013, was found to have violated his probation via the new charges of failure to report and theft by taking. Mr. Middlebrooks was sentenced to serve 182 days in the county jail, terminating the case thereafter.
•Timothy Cronan had his probation revoked for the new charge of possession of meth, and sentenced to serve the remainder of his sentence in the county jail through November 28, 2013.

•Noah Jackson had his probation revoked for the new charge of testing positive for marijuana and failure to pay, and was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail with credit for time served, and upon release to pay $1,200 within 90 days while remaining on active probation supervision, or serve 60-90 days in a Probation Detention Center.
•Senior Lynwood, Jr., who was on probation for the offense of obstructing and disorderly conduct on March 18, 2013, was found to have violated his terms of probation via the new charges of shoplifting and failure to pay fines and fees. Mr. Lynwood was sentenced to 90 days in the county jail to be suspended upon payment of $244, returning to probation with all conditions intact.
•Terry Durand Brown, who was on probation for the offense of giving false information in January of 2013, was found to have violated the terms of his probation via the new charges of failure to report and failure to pay fines an fees. Mr. Brown was sentenced to 90 days in the county jail suspended upon payment of $474.
Also, in a Bond Hearing before the court, a $100,000 bond was set for James E. Cole, III, who is being held on the charge of aggravated child molestation.
In addition, the following three individuals pled guilty to charges as indicated and were sentenced as shown:
•Dean Gordon Duffee plead guilty to the charge of burglary in the first degree—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and fines and fees of $510 and a monthly probation fee of $32.
•Ryan David Middlebrooks pled guilty to the charges of theft by taking and theft by receiving stolen property—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $393 and monthly probation fees of $49.
•Bridget Leigh Clark pled guilty to the charges of entering an automobile and giving false information to a law enforcement officer—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees $325 plus monthly probation fees of $49.
