David Lee Cox of Monticello, driving a 1989 Ford Ranger was stopped on Hwy. 16 preparing to turn into Circle K convenience store on June 26. Marcus Renaldo Standifer of Monticello, driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, was also traveling east on Hwy. 16, behind Mr. Cox, and was unable to stop before hitting him from behind. The Grand Am had to be towed. Neither driver was cited.
