Patricia Ann Barr

Patricia Anne Barr, 65, of Greene Pointe Nursing Home in Union Point, died Sunday June 16, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Bogart.

Born September 3, 1947 in Florence, S.C. to the late John Henry Barr and Gladys Shipley Self Barr, she was a homemaker and was a member of Elam Church in Macon.

Survivors include sons Ronald Wayne Jones, Jr. of Franklin Springs; Felton Kenneth Jones of Monticello; William Paul Jones of Macon; John Clifford Lackey of Covington; step-children Tommie Lee Scarboro of Fort Valley; Peggy Diane Sanders, Linda Gail Sullivan, Pamela Marie Thomas, Raymon Lackey, Michael Lackey, Mandy Lackey, Jack Gilroy, Nicholas Gilroy, James Gilroy, and Timothy Gilroy; brothers, Johnny Barr of Colorado; George Barr of Asheville, N.C.; Billy Gene Jones of McRae; Richard Lawrence Jones of Dewy Rose; a sister, Anna B. Jones of Cochran, and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Thomas Scarboro, Billy Alfred Lackey, Donald Gilroy, and a step-daughter Sandra Elaine Philips.

Memorial services to celebrate her life are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
