Class of 2013 Graduates in Gym

VALEDICTORIAN OLIVIA ALDRIDGE SPEAKS

Jasper County High School graduation was held in the school gymnasium, with overflow seating in the commons area of the school, and a live feed into the school’s auditorium Sunday.

Rose Bowl Field was determined to be too drenched to host graduation exercises for the Jasper County High School Class of 2013 there, and the decision was made to move them inside.

All parking lots were full, and many vehicles were parked in the grass and along the road.

Despite the large crowd indoors, the ceremony began promptly at 6 p.m. as scheduled, and went without a hitch.
